Yoga for weight on As Thomas J. Hopkins puts it, The Dharma Sutras were one of the most important developments in the entire brahmanical tradition [they] broke new ground in establishing Brahmanical rules for the social as well as ritual activities of every member of society. Consistent standards of dharma were assigned to all men, making explicit the relevance of Brahmanical goals and values for all aspects of life.15 In setting out these standards of dharma the sutras built upon older texts such as RV 10.90, the Purusa Sukta, which describes the origins of the four varna system: When they divided [primal] Man, Into how many parts did they divide him? What was his mouth? What his arms? What are his thighs called? What his feet? The Brahman was his mouth, The arms were made the Prince, His thighs the common people, And from his feet the serf was born.16 The sutras in turn were expanded and elaborated in more comprehensive treatises known as dharma sastras. Most famous and influential of these was the Manava Dharma Sastra (the Laws of Manu), which was composed at more or less the same time as the Bhagavad Gita. Yoga for weight 2016.
