Yoga for Road Rage

Yoga is a wonderful way to deal with road rage when we’re traveling from point A to point B and we’re trying to get there in the fastest time possible we can really set ourselves up to be offended and upset when people cut us off or try to get into our lane. And the best way to deal with that is to think about the first rule of yoga ahimsa non-violence. So, if you just allow yourself to become aware of the core of peace it is inside at all times. And just touch that place. And then radiate that peace out filling up your car and filling up all of the lanes around you thinking about peace thinking about peace is a real game-changer.

And then when someone does invariably try to cut in front of you you can just take your foot off the gas a little bit and invite them to go ahead to go in peace that will bring your blood pressure down that will also make you feel good about helping someone else typically we get really anxious about getting to our appointments on time but, if we just slowed down and got into the flow of traffic using our awareness will end up on time, if not earlier than some of the folks who are darting in and out of traffic so please remember I amsa non-violence loving kindness to your fellow travelers I’m Deborah divine for healingyoga.
