But as a matter of fact they do not apply to the Lord. This has been explained in the following verse: The supreme Lord seems still when the various elements are still; Virabhadrasana II Yoga Pose glad when they are glad; gloomy when they are gloomy; but truly he is not so. 38 When the tattvas elements or the senses are stilled or withdrawn, the Lord residing in them as the underlying reality is regarded as still; in the same way, when they are joyous, the Lord is consideied so; similarly, when they are deluded, Virabhadrasana II Yoga Pose the Lord also appears to be so, covered by lamas like immovable and unconscious objects such as trees, etc. But the supreme Lord is really not so affected. All inanimate creation is created and destroyed, but in the supreme Lord, who is eternal, there is really no creation or destruction, despite his being covered by rnayH, etc.
