Pranalinga a kind of subtle manifestation only perceivable by the mind (a kind of Saivite equivalent of the Buddhist Sambhogakaya); 3. Istalinga the physical linga that is worn on the arm or set into a base. The categories of existence are those of the Samkhya plus 11 higher ones. In this system, a devotee of Siva is called a bhakta, and liberation is understood as a realization of blissful union (samarasya) with Siva.
